With the upcoming snow stormwe are about to get hit over night, I felt like looking through our archive for something Wintery, magical and feminine. So of course it brought me to the time we shot at the majestic Rockwood Conservation Area. Exited and ready to create stellar Bridal / Fashion content for Perfect Wedding Magazine's cover. The cover went onall Indigo / Chapters stands during the Fall/Winter 2014-2015 season, we were honoured, humbled and thrilled to be the team chosen to get the cover and the feature.
So let me take you through the shoot. The make up was glorious and full of gold leaf touches, her hands were glowing due to the gold leaf as well, her golden locks were just that - gold and of course the dresses!!!!! I mean for something like this, I thought, you MUST choose only the best of the best, so we went with the most luxurious and opulent Pnina Tornai Dresses available. These dresses are adorned with the best Swarovsky crystals and gems, french laces and the best tulle and satin a girl could ever want! And with all that bling and fur - we had to finish it all off with a custom gold crown, adorned with jewels and pearls.
The vision was perfect, cool calm and collected. Feminine and yet feisty, elegant and eternal. I think that in the endof it all, when all the creative elements came together - theAir plantthat made the Bridal bouquet, the outdoor ruins that surround the bride so comfortably yet eerily, the glamorous Couture dresses and the overflowing furs - one could sense the vision of the most perfect Winter bride. She's a queen (not the ice queen) but a woman that is full of passion andlove, one that knows her ground and willing to stand for it, a Bride that is full of elegance and loves her own unique style and taste in all things luxe.
whats is your idea of the Winter bride? Let us know, we would love to hear from you,
