So now that we will enter the venue, I do want to show you and tell you the story behind the reveal. So of course the photographer asked for Jess to come by the venue and take a look while its empty of vendors and ready for the big party, take the whole thing in you know what I mean? So the story its kinda silly - as jess enters into the room, and literally breaks down - okay okay getting super emotional - I am in looking for the bathroom on the property lol ( we are on the farm after all ) but my team is seeing all this and retelling this to me while I was so kicking my self in the foot lol. Anyway here is the pic of Jessica -she’s the cutest !
Mauve is the new pink and is beginning to takeover the world of weddings. It a beautiful soft and subtle shade of pale purple/pink that exudes romance and beauty.
This color is starting to pop up within wedding decor, bridesmaids dresses and of course within wedding and event floral arrangements.
The color mauve can also be used within lighting of events to represent sunsets and add an extra touch!
Within color psychology mauve has both hints or if blue shades representing calmness and serenity, as well as shades of red representing fire and passion. Mauve is often associated with luxury and royalty while also depicting romance and passion.
This color is the perfect shade to add into details of your big wedding day, and is continuing to grow in popularity for the upcoming spring 2017 wedding season!
Funnest part of the event set up (besides installations and other crazy ideas we do) is by far the table top set up. I know its not "crazy " or maybe sophisticated, but its one of those elements in the event that ties in everything and has a very important role.
Why you ask? Let's think about this for a second - as guestsenter the venue, event/ceremony space, they e are allocated a space by the hosts ~ that is the area where the hosts put that cherry on top of the whole concept. Ribbons, Napkin rings, Menus, Favors, Gifts of sorts, Custom Details etc... The host usually want to give you something for coming to their wedding/event, they place some sort of a personal design detail eitherfor you to take, to taste, or to experience. That is why it so special - you can experience the thank you and the night it self with literally all your senses. Here are some examples:
So next time we are having our talk about your table top, lets make it super you, whatever it might be. Lets make your guests feel welcome and warm, let them know they are there because you want to share your memory with them.

There are so many ways to make a wedding not only trendy, but unique. Choosing a colour palette is the first step to distinguishing your style. The colour palette of this shoot focuses on earthy tones of pink, blue and green with gold and silver finishes. Let the accessories flourish by adding a feminine headpiece to your white ensemble or even some lightweight feathers.
All the florals were designed by yours truly, Luxe Events & Design. Adding little details such as satin ribbons and jewels to floral arrangements creates the perfect floral collection. Here we have a variety of roses combined with hydrangeas, lilies and hypericum berries.
Let’s not ignore the finishing details – such as the paper stationary by Megan Wappel Designs – loving the gold trims and typography. Additionally, a finely embroidered tablecloth such as this earthy pink linen sets the tone for a lovely dining table.
