Catching up on trends!

There have been a lot of trends that have already become big in 2016, they have been seasonal and non seasonal trends that can be used an time. The trends have been varying from modern to rustic and everywhere in between!

Most of the modern trends have to do with the time and the trends that are happening in other aspects of the world, like fashion and style; they are big influencers in the wedding industry.

Floral walls are very in, they can be either hanging from the walls or from the ceiling, both are very in right now at this moment especially because of the summer and the beautiful florals that are available right now!

A hair trend would have to be the high classic ballerina bun, the vail can be perfect for this look and it is sleek and elegant! They can also be loose buns, even a low bun! Buns are so in right now! During the summer months it is a good look because the warmer weather helps with the hair and keeping it out of your face on a special day!

A nice treat for your wedding or event that is one trend right now would have to be donuts! they are all the rage right now! there are donuts everywhere!! Fancy colourful donuts are the best colourful treat for your guests!

Copper of course is in trend, who doesn't love a good metallic additive to any event! they are just so modern and chic but can be dressed down to be rustic or vintage! There are metallic press ons that are very popular on the invitations or thank you card that you give out! they can go right with the theme of your wedding or event to make people remember your amazing day even more!

Drone photography is really popular these days, they have new ways of achieving the birds eye view! Truly amazing to be able to capture the view of your wedding or event, it is creative and innovative!

There are so many more trends that are yet to come within 2016, this has been a great year so far!!

All about the Necklines!

All about the neckline of a gown, your wedding day is all that you want it to be, you decide how much you want to show or not! there are of course more subtle necklines that are classic and more modest and then there are necklines that like to bare it all!

There are so many ways to express a neckline within and on a dress, there can be variations of certain necklines as well to make it just your own!

There are the typical necklines in things such as sweethearts, straight, off the shoulder, v-neck, halter strap, spaghetti straps; these are more of the traditional looks that can be given in a wedding gown, then there are the jewel neck, the scoop neck, the square, halter, high neck, Sabrina neck, asymmetrical, queen Anne line, illusion, cowl neck and the grecian.

The new looks that are in trend and on look right now would have to be a nice grecian beaded look, an illusion neckline is always beautiful, a high neck two piece neckline, and a nice v-neck!

All these necklines are beautiful and can truly compliment any body type! choose what is best for you and what you would like to see most on your figure to flatter what you have to show off!

Designer Profile: Reem Acra

Reem Acra is a designer in the bridal industry, the collection for 2017 really caught my eye when I was searching!! This Designer has a true elegance and shows her own within the bridal world! Her designs are the idea of global glamour and giving women the chance to steal her european style and understanding of fashion and to be what she believes to be the most beautiful and feel the most beautiful in her gowns and designs. There is a sense of Luxury within her designs and it shows within the strong women that carry these dresses. The ready to wear and bridal collections express the feelings of quality, this is appealing to certain clients and personalities of the people that are buying the dresses and the ready to wear collections. These appeal to people all of the world!!

Her fashion business was launched in 1997, with a bridal collection of course!! After working in interior design for a bit she did return to her fashion roots while travelling in New York and Hong Kong!And the designer was born!!

Showing a sense of elegance in her designs, a sense that these designs are timeless. Acra was discovered by a fashion editor while at university, and she was wearing a silk organza gown that she had created from her mothers dining room tablecloth and she had worn it to a party. Amazing!!

She is celebrated for her ability to design for the woman’s personality, she design for global icons and royal weddings!! One of the most well known wedding collection designers around!

Designer Profile: Sareh Nouri

Sareh Nouri is a well known bridal gown designer based out of New York. She has had a passion for wedding dresses and design ever since she was just a child. One interesting fact about Sareh is that she started out her career by creating her own wedding dress; she was not pleased with any of her options that were out there in the market for her. Her passion soon became something so much bigger!! She wanted to create for other women that had the same problem she did; a women having a vision in her head of what would be perfect for her wedding day!! And here she is today!!

Sareh did not initially have an intention to become a wedding gown designer even though she loves weddings and dresses all of her life. She attended George Mason University and graduated with a degree from graphic design, so she did have a back up plan if she did not become successful when designing dresses for lovely women. Being a native of Iran, Sareh takes inspiration from beautiful Persian traditional art. She works very closely with pattern drafter and highly trained dress makers to create all of her beautiful couture gowns. All of the collections and pieces she designs have both a sense of tradition and whimsical details within them, showing off both sides of todays modern bride and appealing to their needs and wants. Sareh Nouri collection gowns can be found all over the world in bridal boutiques!
