Behind every breathtaking event is a story — and for Margarita Oudalova, that story begins with heritage, heart, and a lifelong devotion to beauty. As the Founder, Creative Director, and Lead Event Producer of Oudalova Events & Design, Margarita has spent nearly 15 years transforming celebrations into artful experiences that evoke emotion, spark imagination, and leave a lasting impression.
Inspired by her mother — a celebrated floral designer with over two decades in the industry — Margarita grew up surrounded by petals, palettes, and the poetry of design. But it was her own flair for fashion, her eye for detail, and her instinct for theatrical beauty that led her to reimagine what event design could be. In 2012, a closed chapter became an open door, and OUDALOVA Events & Design was born.
“I remember standing in my mother’s flower shop, saying: ‘You know mom, roses are beautiful… but I don’t understand what makes them special. They feel so regular.’ She looked at me and smiled — and that’s when I realized: it’s not the flower that makes the moment, it’s what you create around it.”
Today, Margarita is widely recognized as a force in the Canadian luxury wedding and event space. Her signature style — a bold interplay of structure and softness, drama and restraint — has been celebrated across leading publications, including the cover of Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, WedLuxe, Perfect Wedding Magazine, Elegant Wedding, NUVO, and more. She has received multiple accolades, including the Wedding Industry Experts Awards Honour Roll and Most Popular New Floral Designer.
But Margarita’s artistry doesn’t end with events. She is also the host of Designing with Margo — a vibrant YouTube series where she invites viewers into her world of florals, tablescapes, and creative musings. Alongside her events studio, Margarita runs FLOWER SNOB — a bold, fashion-forward floral atelier that celebrates unapologetic beauty — and THE VOGUE STUDIOS, a photography and content space designed for artists, creatives, and dreamers alike. Each month, the studio is transformed into a new immersive set, offering a blank canvas for storytelling and visual magic.
From intimate dinners to grand affairs, Margarita and her team create more than events — they compose immersive experiences designed to be felt, remembered, and adored.

With backgrounds in event production, floral artistry, set design, and hospitality, each team member brings something unique — but all are united by a singular purpose: to bring your vision to life with beauty, clarity, and emotional impact.
We believe every event should tell a story — your story — and we approach each project with enthusiasm, intention, and obsessive attention to detail. Whether the celebration is subtle or show-stopping, private or lavish, our job is to make it seamless, stunning, and entirely yours.

I’m Margarita Oudalova — Creative Director, stylist, and storyteller behind OED. For over 15 years, I’ve had the honour of designing fashion-forward weddings and curated celebrations that feel like an editorial spread brought to life: impeccably planned, emotionally resonant, and unapologetically chic.
With a background in Interior Design and Fashion Communications, my approach is rooted in clean lines, layered textures, and a narrative that carries from the first invitation to the final farewell. We take on a limited number of events each year so that every client experience feels intimate, intelligent, and couture — never copy-paste.
Our work has been featured in WedLuxe, Grace Ormonde Wedding Style, Perfect Wedding Magazine, and more. I’m proud to have been named Best Planner of the Year (WPIC Gala), but to me, the truest measure of success is simpler: a room that feels like you, elevated — and guests who never stop talking about it.

Production & Logistics — our producers manage timelines, BEOs, vendor choreography, and all the invisible details that make “effortless” possible.
