CANFAR 2021 - DOLCE GABBANA EVENT

Just when I thought events couldn't get more gorgous ..... DOLCE & GABBANA CALLED!!

So here how it all went down - I am so so thankful to be part of this amazing event and cause.

Thank you to CANFAR for including me amd the OED team in the annual CANFAR Gala - this year it was a special occasion too becuase it was the 25th anniverary for this great cause.

As written on the Canfar site: "On November 25th, 2021, CANFAR united its diverse community of donors and supporters to celebrate 25 years of tremendous efforts and impact made in the fight against HIV.

More than 850 guests made an epic return to a much anticipated in-person event, dining across 14 prestigious locations in Toronto’s Bloor-Yorkville district.

Presented by Signature Partner, BMO Financial Group, and chaired by The Hon. Scott Brison, Vice-Chair, Investment & Corporate Banking at BMO, the 25th anniversary of BSE honoured long-time CANFAR partners and patrons, as well as paid tribute to healthcare communities, including Canadian HIV research scientists who have been hard at work fighting two pandemics these past 18 months, COVID-19 and HIV."

We had the pleasure of working with the Bloor Street Entertains and Dolce Gabanna to create the most magic for the donors.

When designing for Dolce Gabanna we had to think of all the classic elements that represent D&G. These were gold guilded candelabras, red roses/ flowers, lots of candles in candelabras, lots of white, lots of gold, very baroque.

We also added a custom touch with our OUD ROSE candles - these are hand poured in Toronto and is a staple of the OED brand. ( and are sold on our online Flower store www.flowersnob.ca)
